The client, ST6, did not have an established design system when we began redesigning their application, resulting in inconsistencies and increased development effort. To streamline collaboration between designers and developers and improve efficiency, we built a scalable design system from the ground up.
We began by auditing the existing product and identifying all UI elements at the atomic level. This evolved into a centralized system of reusable components, standardized patterns, and design guidelines that became the foundation of the product experience.
As the client expanded their product ecosystem, the design system also functioned as a shared component library, ensuring consistency across products while enabling faster design and development workflows.
